I’m 36, I played this game non stop as a kid. As well as Sonic PinBall, Jammit and college Hoops. My brother is 7 yrs older than me. My style on this game came from a mix of his and coconuts (the monkey robot). I won the game all the time. Played it even through high school. I still have it but am missing some pieces to my sega genesis. I’m going to order new controllers though and get back after it. As this has re inspired me. This guy is brilliant

This is why I think at least for console ports the Genesis version is a near perfect port of the original arcade other than the voice samples being not too great. I feel like the soundtrack was made with the Yamaha sound chip in mind so the music is so much better on Gen/Arcade. Everywhere else is okay… but the music doesn’t hit as hard as it does without that ol YM2612
